Can I trap Coyotes on my place during the summer? Trying to thin them out! I will be doing some calling during this time and was wondering if I could trap some while I'm not calling.

Yes you can trap them during the summer. Its important that you use techniques that specifically target coyotes to avoid trapping untargeted species. You should also have a way to release animals that are not legal to trap during closed seasons for those particular species. License requirements are still the same unless you are exempt.

I saw that, and his assistant called us the other day, but apparently she didn't accurately relay the information I gave her to Mr. Turner.

so i can trap in the summer then? im confused because i called the game warden and asked him and he said i couldnt trap coyotes until the actual trapping season...of course he was a new guy so i dont know what to believe

There is no season on coyotes. But you cannot charge for services unless you are a NWCO. And their hides aren't worth anything.
